Fiesta Mexican Restaurant @ Toorak Road, South Yarra
By Ms I-Hua On May 25, 2010 · 3 Comments · In By Cuisine, By Location, Food Reviews, Inner Southern Suburbs, Mexican Cuisine, South Yarra

I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like Mexican food… I LOVE Mexican food…
So when I was strolling down South Yarra one day towards the train station, my attention was brought to this Restaurant by my Big Bro, who is crazy tennis fan…

Fiesta, is a Mexican restaurant which boasts visits from famous (and not so famous) tennis stars from the likes of Agassi to our home grown Lleyton Hewitt (eew)…

More reason’s to visit this restaurant?
There’s a discount voucher/coupon in the Entertainment Guide Book…

It does get fairly busy and fills up quickly, so it is highly recommended that you book a table…

Not surprisingly, they have dishes named after Tennis players…. given that I would never order any dish with Hewitt’s name in it (no matter how delicious it sounded), I just had to order the Agassi Burrito $23.90
“Andre and our chefs cooked up this recipe of chicken fillet, black
turtle beans, guacamole, brown rice, lettuce, cheese & salsa rolled
in a soft flour tortilla.”

The Boy and cousin A ordered, the Combination $22.90, which was a Beef enchilada, beef taco, chicken flauta served with black turtle bean salad & rice.
Except that the Boy decided to change all his beef options to chicken instead =P

Cousin A’s unchanged Combination…

GROUP SHOT!… Of the food… I don’t take people pictures!

I could not finish my meal as it was HUMONGOUS… but I did have cravings for dessert…
So I made the Boy eat a quarter of my massive burrito (get your mind out of the gutter!), and ordered Choco Loco $9 which was described as a, “Sinful chocolate mouse, vanilla bean ice cream and fresh dark chocolate dipped strawberries”…
How can a girl refuse this and not gasp in delight??
It was delicious (surprisingly.. I wasn’t expecting much from the desserts menu at a Mexican restaurant)…
Definitely a fun and filling experience… I was so full, they had to roll me out the door!
