Ever wanted to dine in one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, but haven’t been able to find the time to fly to them (Australia only has Quay)? We were ecstatic to find out that Brett Graham and his Ledbury team were travelling down to Melbourne during the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2012 event and knew we just had to get places to dine. We did, and here we are reporting from the front line 🙂
If you’re the type of person who loves sharing food with friends and family, then The Sharing House was made for you. Surrounded by a great view (next to the Yarra River) and bright coloured Duplo blocks, this place promises good food, service and most of all fun in dining!
Need a new place to hang out with your friends, family, partner? Want to dine at places which are casual and relaxed, serve amazing food and not too far away from Melbourne CBD? Why not head out to South Wharf Promenade and explore the new restaurants in the area. You won’t regret it!
Dreams can come true. As major food geeks and nerds, the Boy and I were slightly astonished to be able to get two tickets out of the 50 people exclusive event at the Noma and Rockpool MFWF 2012 event. More than a month has gone by since we shared a taste of the World’s Number 1 restaurant’s cuisine, and I still can hardly believe it.
A night at an art hotel. An art tour by an in-house curator. A hands-on art class. What does that all have to do with food you ask? Join me on my fun filled journey through the Olsen Hotel (Art Series Hotel) at the launch of their new restaurant, Spoonbill Restaurant and Bar.
