Known to some as Jean-Paul Prunetti’s baby, France Soir turns 25 this year. Friendly, inviting and traditional, not much has changed in these last few years.
With this visit to de Clieu, we complete our adventure of the fabulous trio, which includes Seven Seeds and Brother Baba Budan. The youngest member of the trio, and located in Fitzroy, we weren’t quite sure how this younger sibling would stand out to its two older and wiser brother and sister. What we learnt? Never underestimate the youngest member of the family 🙂
We finally reach the end of our Malaysian restaurant food journey for the month of August (and for the Malaysia Kitchen Blogger Summit). On this final leg of the journey, I take you through a brief history visit to the 15th century and introduce to you a uniquely Malaysian cuisine, the Peranakan Nyonya (Nonya) Cuisine.
Dainty Sichuan has been the talk of the town in recent times with its chilli flecked Szechuan cuisine. We thought we would investigate the authenticity and spiciness levels a couple of weeks back. Armed with friends, cameras, and lots of expectations, we were ready to sweat it out!
