The view from our breakfast table at Novotel hotel

More boat noodles… today with added spicy pork ribs =)

A selection of sushi and Miso Soup

Why are we so happy??

Can you tell?? If you are a regular traveller to Bangkok, you will know just by looking at this BTS Signboard

We’re going to Chatuchak Weekend Market!!

The market where you can buy anything and find anything… from Household Decor

To food stalls (even classy ones with mini chandeliers!)

We decided to stop here for lunch (one of the many stalls lined on the main intersection)

We were spoilt for choice…

One reason why we stopped here, was because of the many people crowding this stall…

The menu was helped with pictures! Which is always a good thing in a tourist area =)

Started off with a very spicy Tom Yam soup.. but oh so good!

Pad thai with Prawns

Som Tam with Salted Duck Egg! This was really good!

As we left our table, a couple quickly pounced on our seats!

Clothes!

More food!

Puppies!

Isn’t he cute? The little fella is getting groomed so people will buy him… I was this close to securing one and smuggling him away in my bag!!!

Dried cuttlefish and other dried foods…

Fried Cempedak (Jackfruit)…

Aromatheraphy products..

A farang looking confused, hot and bothered…

When we got back to the hotel… after 5 hours of steady shopping (intercepted only by lunch and 2 stops for coconut water)… I was drained and extremely happy with my bargain huntings!

At night, we took a walk out to Siam Square again for dinner and was entertained by a live performance which was being telecast over the television!
